okies, you know how like, right before you're having a bunch of people come over to party at your place, you're all like "AUGH!! i need to get shit ready!!!"?

well, that's how i feel right now. because something is going to happen soon, i dunno what, but i need to get ready, i need to prepare for this next phase in my self-expression.

hold on, people. this could get bumpy.

as for my art itself. it's different. it's changed too. i mena, there was i time in my deviant history where i was like a fricking assembly line: everyday, i'd finalize and submit the previous day's work, and then create a new piece to finalize and submit for tomorrow. it was so nice to have that steady rhythm. but most times, i would just make stuff "because i had to." i was so dedicated to the process that the end results were...well...pretty frickin' lame.

and then i just stopped. i got caught up in my photography, which is not really artistic; just observations of my day to day life. i made a tiny site for that. i also did some photo work for a friend. they all took time away from art, and it was needed.

now, i follow the ideas, when they come. and as long as it comes from the soul, and for it's own sake, it honestly doesn't matter what i do.
